Are there any boring parts that drag which the reader will skip? Do I have any hysterical characters? Excellent reminders and I’m ashamed to admit to being guilty of just one or two (ahem).

After the macro comes the micro-inspection: the difference between showing/telling; how to produce correct pacing, rhythm, mood and imagery. We even get down to the nitty-gritty of even more detailed mechanics: sentence structure, punctuation, word usage. The list is endless and indispensable.
