answer to war oblivion NEW
by: mervyn attwood

I am now 63 and have experienced much anguish as I have seen report after report of wars obscenity. I was born at a time when ration cards were still being issued in the UK, my mum has still got mine as a souvenier. The number of times that conflict has been justified crowds out all other fiction ever written. As an individual you cannot stop governments who wish to go to war but, and it is a very powerful but, you can actively make peace in your own life, with yourself and all those with whom you come into contact. This will eventually spread as people around you see an individual living in harmony with the whole earth. The longest journey starts with one step. Take that step and love this crazy, ugly and wonderful world, it's the only one we've got. My thoughts are with you and all others who are striving for a better way of living and dying, in peace.
