Emma Carlson Berne is the author of young adult books including the thriller Still Waters, as well as the forthcoming thriller Never Let You Go. In addition to publishing young adult fiction under her own name, she ghostwrites novels for young adults.


Mary Kay Carson is the author of over thirty children's books, including The Bat Scientists, named a 2011 Notable Children's Book by the Association for Library Service to Children; Exploring the Solar System, recipient of the 2009 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Children's Literature Award; Emi and the Rhino Scientist; The Wright Brothers for Kids; Inside Tornadoes; and The Far-Out Guide to the Solar System series.


Sally Derby is the author of children's books including My Steps; No Mush Today; The Wacky Substitute; Two Fools and a Horse; Taiko on a Windy Night; Hannah's Bookmobile Christmas; Kyle's Island; King Kenrich's Splinter; Jacob and the Stranger; and The Mouse Who Owned the Sun.


Linda Leopold Strauss is the author of children's books including The Princess Gown; Really, Truly, Everything's Fine; The Alexandra Ingredient; Preschool Day Hooray!; Alice Elizabeth Loved Surprises; and others. In addition to juvenile fiction, she has written a guide for writers called Drop Everything and Write!.


Connie Nordhielm Wooldridge is the author of children's books including The Brave Escape of Edith Wharton, named an "Editor's Choice" by The New York Times; When Esther Morris Headed West: Women, Wyoming and the Right to Vote, named a "Notable Social Studies Book” by the National Council for the Social Studies; Thank You Very Much, Captain Ericsson; The Legend of Strap Buckner: A Texas Tale; and Wicked Jack.
