Treasure in newspaper articles

by Nina
(Ohio)

I've gotten ideas from newspaper articles, actual news articles. I just try to imagine my way into the situation described -- how would I feel if I were the person charged with the murder? (If I was guilty, or if I wasn't guilty?) How would I explain it to my kids? To my husband? How would it affect my family? What would I have to do to protect myself? To protect the people I love? Etc., etc.

And it doesn't have to be a murder or even a crime. Maybe it's a good deed someone does that has certain consequences. Or a project that a whole town gets involved in. Or animals that need a good home. Or a person battling an illness.

You get the idea....
