Scrabble Dabble

If you play Scrabble, make a list of all the words in the completed game, then use each word in a sentence which must relate to every other sentence so that a story, comprehensible or otherwise, emerges. I've been happily surprised to see how often a good story does develop. Once you've used this method to create a basic draft, usually all it takes is a little tweaking.
